Miss Marilyn is a classic Accoyo looking Peruvian Huacaya. Marilyn's grandsire is Royal Fawn and her sire is Kenamori Gold, both males of distinction. If you look at a picture of Royal Fawn, Marilyn is his "spitting image"! :-)
Marilyn is a large, square female. She produces well-covered, conformationally correct, square crias.
Miss Marilyn has won 2 Blue Ribbons on halter, Best Owned and Bred and a 3rd place ribbon AOBA National Spinoff, 2003.
Marilyn gave birth to the most outstanding nutmeg brown female in 2008. So beautiful we named her Bewitching Samantha. The sire was our own Captain Nemo. And though I really wanted to breed Marilyn to a Bay Black or True black we decided that we would redo the breeding. Another Samantha would be outstanding. And so she did have another Samantha - but in a darker shade of brown. We named her Lady Nema to follow the Miss Marilyn and Captain Nemo. We like this breeding so much we went back for a 3rd time. one of these might turn out to be rose grey. that would be lovely. In the Fall of 2010, she gave birth to a boy, Arronax who has just started his show career. Should be worth following. Plus, she is bred again, this time to our new herdsire, Barbary who is unbelievably sweet and even more beautiful. This should be a great match, come back spring 2012 and see.
