Rosehaven's Peruvian Saving Grace

Saving Grace is our full peruvian Silver Grey girl out of Silver Titanium of Peru - a Shades of Grey son and our Abby a Matador daughter. What a very nice combination of genetics. Grace is doing great and we are very happy. Grace had a bit of a trial 24 hours after she was born. The vet came and drew blood for her IGG and for her dna card, and after he left she went into a seizure. We weren't there but thank god our herd manager Jerry Murphy was. He flew into action and got the vet to come back. Gave her a shot of banamine, they dipper her into cold water to bring her temp down. it had really soared through the roof. the vet gave her a shot for the seizures and slowly she dropped her temperature and got better. What a thing for her to go through. But now she is gaining weight, running around the fields and terrorizing the other crias.

Therefore Saving Grace was named for Jerry and for our vet Dr. Joe. And thankgod for both of them.
