Mr. Joe DiMaggio is the sleeper in our herd - but not for long. We had Wade Gease come and evaluate last year, and he told us then - put this boy across all your herd. And of course we didn't. We used him on one girl. A nice girl - but not a spectacular girl. Just a nice solid foundation girl. WELL - her cria (and his) is the best cria we have had on our property to date. Her fleece is amazing!!! This girl is headed for the ring big time. Her name is Cinderella Liberty - and she is amazing!!
Since then we have put him on all our browns and fawns. We even put him on our Champion brown grl Ch'ulla. He is spectacular - but more than that he makes incredible cria. He was not shown as a juvie or a yearling - which is too bad. We showed him as a 3 year old and he did pretty well. He is a big boy and does stand over our other herdsires.
If you are interested in Joe - let us know. His name really isn't Joe - but it is DiMaggio - and he has hit one out of the park!!!
