Rosehaven's Peruvian Lady Nema is a cross between 2 wonderful lines: Captain Nemos (from Santana and Dom Timbo) and Thompson Hollow Miss Marilyn (Kenamori gold and Royal Fawn genetics). We liked this cross so much with the lovely Samantha from last year, that we did it again, and this year we have the lovely Lady Nema. She is much darker than we expected to get from Marilyn, though she did throw a Bay Black back in the day.
Lady Nema did quite well in her shows. She has gone in many different color categories including bay black, dark brown, dark rose grey to an indefinite. We will take them all! she took a Blue at AFCNA for her fleece, another blue at 2011 PAOBA in halter, five (5) 2nd places - red, and one 3rd and one 4th. She has always gotten a ribbon.
