Ankara is a medium rose gray from Magical Farms with Silvino bloodlines. She has extremely fine fleece with 2 year old fleece histogram at 18.0 microns/4.5 SD/24.4cv/2%>30 and a 5 year old histogram at 19.3 microns/5.1 SD/25.9cv/4%>30. How many animals can claim that level of fineness at 5 years of age with 3 pregnancies?
She also has a rare combination of imported rose grey genetics from both her dam's (Chilean) side and her sire's (Peruvian) side. She has produced grey FOUR times in a row, even when bred to fawn, and is an excellent mother and easy birther with lots of milk for her cria. She has never taken more than a single breeding and is our easiest mother. In 2010 she had a rose grey girl Shelley. This year she broke her record and had a dark brown boy out of Basquiat.
We have bred her to Crescent Moon's Marquis, a modern dark rose grey. The fleece on their cria should be amazing.
