Crystal Glen Alpacas

Laurie and I met each other at the Bethel Woods Alpaca day. We had emailed each other before - but this was the first time we had met. She came up to the farm a couple of weeks later and has become a great member of our farm. After that first day Summer Sunset and Apricot Brandy were following all around. I think it was love at first sight for all of them. On Laurie's 2nd trip she met Maravilla, and another connection was made.

Laurie comes to the alpaca world through her love of animals, and her training T touch in the dog world. Not only does she teach she also teaches and trains in dog trials and obstacles. She and Jay are both fully committed to training dogs to their skills.

Laurie is bringing all those skills over to the alpaca world, and already Rob and I can see dramatic changes in many of our alpacas. Don't get us wrong - we have been very proud of our friendly alpacas, whom we have always gotten many compliments on their friendliness and temperment from many breeders. But Laurie brings a different touch to the alpacas, and you can see them become proud of themselves. We enjoy working along with Laurie - and I hope our journey together teaches all of us new things. So far it's been great.

Laurie also contributes to our blog www.alpacatude.blogspot.com
you can check out more about Laurie and her journey into the alpaca world there. Laurie has also brought her sister into the world. Or actually it originally might have been the reverse. we will let them decide.
