The first known private importation of alpacas occurred in 1980 when Richard and Kay Patterson purchased a herd of ten animals from England. Dr. Ralph Uber purchased the herd from the Pattersons in 1982 and added additional alpacas purchased from a zoo in Canada. In 1984 an import Chile

Diablo comes from a dam who has thrown us a champ - and a sire who is a 6x blue ribbon winner 3x champion AND a Judges Choice award for Fleece!!! Kodiak Express - whose sire is well known to everyone - Accoyo Express.
Diablo earned his name - because when he was born his ears made him look devilish. I really held off trying to come up wth another name - but Rob was right - and Diablo it is. It's going to be a long winter to see if the fleece we are looking at right now - is going to hold on and turn into fleece like his sire and grandsire!
Diablo will be going into the ring this spring - and we are very anxious to see how he will do. come back and check him out - OR come to the New Jersey Show in Sussex or Mapaca in Harrisburg. he will be at both!

Nemo's Summer Sunset
Nemo's Summer Sunset is the first female cria we have from Nemo. And Lluvia was the only girl we had bred to him this season. So we were hoping so much for a girl. We got 2 wonderful boys last year, and they have been proving themselves in the show ring, but it was about time for a girl. And what a girl. Born on August 31st, we found her in the field. Rob came up to the dining room where I was working and he said, "I think Lluvia had her cria" and I asked why he thought that, and he said, "well there is a cria nursing from her". So we ran out to see our newest little cria. I knew it was a girl as soon as I saw her. We were hoping for a rose grey cria - but her fiber is the richest color brown I have seen. her face (nose) has grey on it, so we know she will throw grey when she is old enough. We aren't even going to talk about shows for Summer Sunset yet. We are just going to enjoy having a Nemo Girl !!!
NWA Line/Paula
Paula is standing right behind Stealth and you can see how closely they resemble each other. She has thrown great cria and continues to do so for Champion Alpacas.

Precious Farm's Summer Sky
Summer Sky came to us to be bred to our Lord Stirling, and it was love, well not quite at first site, but she just kept growing on us and growing on us. Well we ended up loving her personality, one of the friendliest girls we have ever known, even pregnant. And now we own her - and the lovely female cria she had from our Champion Lord Stirling.
Prince Alderaan
Prince Alderaan of Rosehaven is a 3/4 peruvian boy from our Captain Nemo and Princess Leah. This is Leah's 2nd cria and 2nd boy. Her first Invincible's white Satin Knight is a White Color Champion. I was hoping to keep up the star wars theme with Prince and I think we did quite nicely, not that he will be carrying a light saber anytime soon. His fiber is quite nice and we call him a rose grey wantabe!
Prince of Rock
Princess Leah
Description: Princess Leah won her first blue ribbon at the Empire Extravaganza 2005. Julio Sumar stated that though he was judging her in the shorn class, he thought that her fleece was very nice. Leah took a 4th in a very tough class prior to that at her first show (and yes we were one of those who hadn't trained her to lead at that point....) But what she is known for is her champion son Invincible's White Satin Knight

Circe is out of MFH Circlet and Avalon's Peruvian Granger. That makes
her 1/2 sibling to our prize herdsire, Lord Stirling. She already shows
signs of following in her mother's footsteps-giving us everything we
hoped to get from this breeding. Come see them all, you are in for a
treat. We love her leg coverage, her grey soft fleece, and obviously
some judges agree with us too!
Rosehaven's Crimson Ice
Crimson Ice has tons of potential. Our wonderful girl Tamara has always
given us the most amazing cria. From Lady Jane, Hannah, Autumn Dancer
and Indi Max. And here Crimson Ice is another wonderful boy. His Sire
Zamboni is out of the Black Ice line, and we have chosen to keep the
name in that line too.
Rosehaven's Golden Matador
Matt may look like a creamy color-but when you open that fleece
up-wow!!!! What you see is a light silver grey. We waited for Princess
to throw a grey for so long -and finally we have one!!! come and see
Matt at the spring shows.

Be one of the first to have a Lord Stirling cria. He is our 3x banner winning, 10x blue ribbon winning son of Captain Nemo.
Rosehaven's Peruvian Arronax
Another beautiful Nemo male and a beautiful boy out of Miss Marilyn. Arronax shows all the promise of his sire. We're betting that he will be a welcome addition to anyone's breeding program.
Rosehaven's Peruvian BellaNema
BellaNema is a lovely full peruvian medium rose grey girl out of our champion Captain Nemo and our famous girl Isabella who appeared on the daytime talkshow The View. BellaNema has a full brother Silver Crown who took is a 3x Reserve Champion. Silver Crown is a Modern rose grey now owned by Jackie Armiger at Windy Farms in NJ. We are hoping that BellaNema will follow in all these winning ways. A lovely girl as you can see.
Rosehaven's Peruvian Saving Grace
Rosehaven's Royal Blush
Peruvian Blush is a lovely Rose-grey girl with her heart on her chest!!! look at that picture. just lovely. She took a first at Empire Extravaganza in October of 2011. And followed that with a 2nd at the New England Classic a couple of weeks later. We love this cross that we have from Derwydd's Wine and Derwydd's Luciano. She is a beauty.
Rosehaven's Shaqueline
Rosehaven's Trooper
Trooper is a product of Pearl cache (a patagonia genetics girl) and DiMaggio our white phenotypical herdsire. Trooper has excellent fiber and a nice conformation. he is all male and takes after his very macho father, except for those beautiful eyes. Pearl had a say on that.

Silver Spoon Basquiat
Silver Spoon Bronte
Beautiful Silver Grey girl out of our original Emmy and Aussie Rockford.
Silver Spoon Ophelia
Stunning rose grey girl born to one of Silver Spoon's foundation dams and their fawn herdsire, who is a half brother to the famous Orlando Cloud. She had beautiful, bright, crimpy grey fleece as a cria. Her fleece is still amazing now after the birth of her first cria.
Silver Spoon Rossetti
Silver Spoon Shelley
Shelley should have excellent fleece characteristics to pass on to her offspring. Since Shelley's dam is an excellent breeder, conceiving in one breeding and birthing easily, we expect her to offer the same.
Snowberry
Snowberry is as white as snow - and we decided to keep the family "berry" name going from Teaberry and our old Hollyberry. Her sire is Brookhollow's Alonzo. She has really strong bones and good conformation. She will only get better and better. She does have some blue in her eyes. So we will be breeding her to solids. Which is fine with us. Lets see how she looks as she grows up.
Snowmass Austen
This blue-ribbon girl comes out of a phenomenal lineage. Her mother is Snowmass Sweet Dreams, a champion grey who won the 2004 Grey Female Champion at All American Futurity, Reserve Color Champion at AOBA Nationals and Reserve Color Champion at Alpaca Western Extravaganza. Her mother produced Snowmass' top two grey males ever produced on their farm (Silver Signature and Royal Dreams), and comes out of Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, one of the country's top grey males who won 2003 Futurity Herdsire of the Year. Austen's father is Snowmass Royal Bronze, one of Snowmass's top production sires and winner of 2004 All American Futurity, 2004 Alpacafest, 2005 Fleece at AOBA and 2004 AWE. Royal Bronze's fleece characteristics are incredible, with 16.4 at 3.5 years of age.

Snowmass Nova
Starbuck De Alta Vista
Stirling's Ebony Skye
Ebony Skye is a delightful true black cria from our Summer Sky and Lord Stirling. She is one of the first cria's from our Champion Lord stirling - and we like what we see. Summer Sky came to be bred to stirling - and we liked her so much we bought her. She has the friendliest temperment of any alpaca - and we are hoping that it genetically passed down to Ebony Skye. Stirling is a bit of a mush himself - so it really should. We are intending to bring Ebony to the spring shows and see how she does.
Stirling's Garnet Rose
Garnet rose is the 2nd cria Tara has had (2 females) and Lord Stilring. Beautiful color and lovely markings.
Stirling's Pewter Prince
Pewter Prince is the criation of our 2 silver grey champions, Lord Stirling and Canzelle's Harlequin. He carries the exquisite fleece of Captain Nemo and Snowmass Casanova and looks just like Lord Stirling when he was young. The same attitude, the same playfulness, the same curiousity, the same conformation and, oh yea, the same markings as his daddy! Just watching Pewter romp in the field would make anyone smile. Come over to our field and let Pewter make you smile.
Stone Ridge Candace
T Peruvian Trophy
Tara of Rosehaven
Tara is a lovely medium brown girl. We think she is starting to show some grey in her as she has gotten older. She was pregnant with DiMaggio and we are thrilled with little Guya-born June 2010. In 2011, she gave birth to little Garnet Rose-a stunning (so far) little girl. We can't wait to see how she grows up.
